WCL Semi Finals Results:

1st Semi-Final was played between Pakistan Champions and West Indies Champions in which Pakistan  Champions crushed West Indies Champions by 20 runs. 2nd Semi-Final was played between India Champions and Australia Champions in which India Champions crushed Australia Champions by 86 runs.

WCL 1st Semi Final Result:

PAK Champs vs WI Champs:

Pakistan Champions crushed West Indies Champions by 20 runs in the 1st Semi Final of the ongoing World Championship Of Legends 2024, which was played at the County Ground in Northampton on Friday.

Pakistan Batting:

In the beginning Pakistan Champions bat first, Pakistan didn't have an extraordinary beginning as they lost three of their batters, Sharjeel Khan, Sohaib Maqsood and Shoaib Malik  without scoring any significant runs.

Both the players looked set on the crease yet  Kamran Akmal wound up losing his wicket after scoring 46 runs on 31 balls with 8 fours. After Kamran Akmal dismissal, Pakistan Champions lost 2 more wickets with Shahid Afridi and Misbah-ul-Haq.

Younis Khan was removed by Fidel Edwards after 65 runs, but Pakistan kept on posting runs on the scoreboard as Aamer Yahim and Sohail Tanvir framed a 61 runs paternership.

Aamer Yamin scored 37 runs on 17 balls while Sohail Tanvir score 33 runs on 17 balls.

After setting the 199 runs target, the Pakistani bowlers show their brilliant efforts and impelled their team to the tournament's final where they will face India.

West Indies Bowling:

For West Indies, Edwards gets 3 wickets, Sulieman Benn got 2 wickets while Jerome Taylor and Dwayne Smith picked one wicket each.

West Indies Batting:

West Indies had a slow start in the beginning as they scored only 7 runs in the initial four overs yet they found the rhythm as Chris Gayle started hitting boundaries in the fifth over.

How ever, Chris Gayle's innings didn't keep going long as he was out by Sohail Khan for 26 runs.

West Indies continued to lose wickets at intervals however Ashley Nurse played a quick innings of 36 runs on 24 balls, he seemed to be the man to lead the West Indies Champions to chase the target but he was run out by Kamran Akmal.

Rayad Emrit score 29 runs in 9 balls however he was removed by Shoaib Malik.

Pakistan Bowling:

Sohail khan bagged 4 wickets, while Wahab Riaz & Shoaib Malik got 2 wickets each.

Sohail Khan was Pakistan's Champions best performer with the ball as he capture 4 wickets and restricted the West Indies Champions to 178 runs.

WCL 2nd Semi Final Result:

IND Champs vs AUS Champs:

India Champions crushed Australia Champions by 86 runs in the 2nd Semi Final of the ongoing World Championship Of Legends 2024 which was played at the played at the County Ground in Northampton on Friday.

India Batting:

In the first innings,  Robin Uthappa assumed responsibility for India's innings and played an excellent innings in which he score 65 runs on 35 balls.

India's captain Yuvraj Singh went on with Uthappa had begun and played a fast 59-run innings only in 28 balls prior to losing his wicket to Peter Siddle.

After Yuvraj Singh was gone, Irfan Pathan and Yousuf Pathan started hitting the Australian bowlers. The two siblings consolidated for a 95-run partnership which assisted India with posting the 255-run target for Australia.

Irfan Pathan scored 50 runs in 19 balls while Yousuf Pathan score 51 runs on 23 balls. 

Pursuing the 255 run target, Australia were never in the game as the Indian bowlers ruled the adversaries all along.

Australia Bowling:

Siddle gets 4 wickets while Coulter-Nile & Xavier Doherty get one wicket each.

Australia batting:

Australia lost their key players Shaun Marsh who score 2 runs , Aaron Finch who score 16 runs, Ben Dunk who score 10 runs & Callum Ferguson who score 23 runs without contributing important runs as the target was too huge and required much better innings.

India Bowling:

The Indian bowlers kept on disturbing the Aussies, who closed their innings at 168-7 in the allotted overs.
