India Tour Of Sri Lanka 2024:

Sri Lanka Cricket Board has announced the timetable of their upcoming series against India at home, It comprises of three T20Is and as numerous ODIs.

The Indian team will be playing for the first time under new mentor/coach Gautam Gambhir, who has recently replaced Rahul Dravid.

It is the first series of team India after winnings the T20 World Cup title, In this series we are likely to see the players who were playing in the T20 World Cup.

According to Sri Lanka Cricket, India will be arriving in Sri Lanka on 22 July 2024, with the T20I series getting underway on 26 July 2024.

The second and third T20Is are scheduled to separately occur on 27 and 29 July.

The first ODI is set for 1st August, with the second and third matches are scheduled for 4th August and 7th August, separately.

T20I Series:

First T20I, 26 July 2024 - 6:30pm at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele

Second T20I, 27 July 2024 - 6:30pm at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele

Third T20I, 29 July 2024 - 6:30pm at Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele.

ODI Series:

First ODI, 1st August 2024 - 2:00pm at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo

Second ODI, 4th August 2024 - 2:00pm at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo

Third ODI, 7th August 2024 - 2:00pm at R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium, Colombo

It should be noted that team India will be visiting Sri Lanka for the first time since 2021. In the previous visit, India played 4 T20Is and 3 ODIs. India won the T20I series 3-1 however lost the ODI series 2-0.
